Pricing & free vs Pro

Is Klyne free?

Yes. The full review flow — uploading your CSVs, charting trades, tagging, prop firm rule checking, CSV export — is free forever for one backtest at a time. No account required.

What do I pay for in Pro?

Three things: multi-version comparison (overlay V1 and V2 of the same backtest on one chart), cloud sync (review on any device, never lose tags), and advanced exports (Markdown / PDF report grouped by tag). See /pricing for the full feature comparison.

How much is Pro?

€9 / month, or €79 / year (save 27%). Prices include applicable tax. Cancel anytime.

Is there a free trial?

Not yet. The free tier is broad enough that you can fully evaluate whether the multi-version + sync features matter for you before paying — most of Klyne's core value (charting, tagging, prop firm rules) is free. We may add a 7-day Pro trial later.

Subscription & billing

When do you charge?

On checkout, then on the same day each month (monthly plan) or year (annual plan) until you cancel. Stripe sends an email receipt with every charge.

How do I cancel?

Sign in, click your avatar (top-right), choose Manage subscription. That opens Stripe's secure billing portal where you can cancel in one click. Your Pro features stay active until the end of the period you already paid for.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. EU consumer law gives you a 14-day cooling-off period for digital subscriptions, and we honour that for all customers regardless of location. Email service@klyne.trade within 14 days of your charge and we'll issue a full refund — no questions asked.

After 14 days, refunds are at our discretion. We'll consider them case-by-case if the service was unusable for you (broken upload flow, missing prop firm rule, etc.).

Do refunds cancel my subscription?

Not automatically. Refund and cancellation are separate actions. If you want to both stop future charges and get the current charge back, do both: cancel via the billing portal, then email us for the refund.

What payment methods do you accept?

All major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express). EU customers also see SEPA Direct Debit at checkout where supported. All processing is handled by Stripe — Klyne never sees your card number.

Data & privacy

What data leaves my browser?

The short answer: very little, and only if you sign in.

  • Charts and trade prices stay local. Your OHLC bars and the prices in your trade list are never sent to any server.
  • Tags and notes sync to our database only when you're signed in. Free users without an account stay 100% local.
  • Account info (email, display name, avatar URL from Google OAuth) — minimal profile fields needed for sign-in to work.
  • Subscription state (plan, renewal date, Stripe customer id). Used to gate Pro features.

Where is the data stored?

Supabase (Postgres) hosted in the EU (Frankfurt). Payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe. We never touch your card details.

Can I delete my account and all my data?

Yes. Email service@klyne.trade from your registered address. We'll wipe your account, review records, and any custom tags within 7 days. The corresponding data in your browser's localStorage is something you can clear yourself any time via Clear in the app header.

Do you train AI models on my reviews?

No. We don't look at your reviews and we don't feed them into anything.

Prop firms

Which prop firms are supported?

FTMO (2-Step + 1-Step), FundedNext (Stellar 2-Step + 1-Step), MyFundedFutures (Core + Rapid), and Topstep (Combine). Selecting a firm in the app applies its specific rule set to your backtest — daily loss, max drawdown, trading days, consistency, weekend holding — and flags any violation as you scroll through trades.

The rules for firm X just changed — how fast do you update?

We re-verify each firm's rules quarterly against their official docs. If a major change drops mid-quarter, file an issue (or just email us) and we'll fast-track the update. The version of each preset shows the "last verified" date inline.

Can you add my prop firm?

Probably yes — email us with a link to the firm's evaluation rules page. The rule engine schema covers most common challenge / funded structures.

Does Klyne tell me whether I'd pass the challenge?

Klyne flags rule violations (e.g. "daily loss exceeded -5% on 2026-04-15") and shows you live buffers in the header. Whether you actually pass also depends on hitting the profit target, which the dashboard tracks too. But Klyne doesn't guarantee anything — always cross-check against your firm's official statements.

Trust & misc

Are you affiliated with FTMO / FundedNext / etc?

No. Klyne is an independent project. We have no commercial relationship with any prop firm and have not been paid (or asked) to feature any specific firm.

Is Klyne investment advice?

No. Klyne is a visualization and review tool for backtests you already ran. We don't recommend trades, give trading signals, or have opinions about your strategy. The disclaimer in the app footer is real — past performance, etc.

Who builds Klyne?

One trader-developer based in Germany. Side project, ramen profitable hopefully soon, no VC, no growth team trying to engagement-trap you.

How do I report a bug or request a feature?
